Armored Titan in Attack on Titan Paradis
The plate puzzle — strong against pride, weak against thunder spears.
Armored Titan is the honest tank of Attack on Titan Paradis. You are not Jaw. You are not Colossal. You are a reason Scouts have to answer a question: did they bring thunder spears, or did they bring main-character syndrome? This page is how to be that question, and how to answer it from the other side.
Role
On the titan tier list Armored sits in B. That is not an insult. B-tier in a seven-kit game means you win specific lobbies. Blade-only Scouts bounce. Coordinated spears do not. Your job is to occupy a plaza, roar to paint anyone who thinks they are hidden, and charge the ones who stay.
The map remodel made Paradis and Marley prettier. It did not make your turning circle smaller. Do not pick Armored if you want Jaw’s street dance. Pick it if you want to be the objective.
How to play Armored
- Transform with room to charge. Alleys are nape closets.
- Roar on cooldown when Scouts vanish into Another Forest. Highlight is your vision stat.
- Face threats. The nape is still the nape. How to kill titans does not have an Armored exception, only a “this takes longer with knives” footnote.
- Treat spears as your raid mechanic. When you see them, stop walking in a straight line toward the thrower.
- Eject if three Scouts are committed. Armored deaths are slow and embarrassing.
- Rejoin if titan select breaks after death. Same bug as everyone else — transform guide.
Scout guide: actually killing Armored
- Spears first. This is the comment-section truth from players who main ODM. Extra +2 spears are 80 Robux on game passes if you have decided this is your identity.
- Leg stun if you can boost a limb. A plated body that cannot turn is a nape.
- Do not poke the chest with dry blades and hope. That is how Armored feels S-tier.
- Stay mobile. Armored wins if you stand in the charge to “trade.” You are not plated.
- Use walls. Paradis districts give you hook points to reset. Marley streets can trap you in the charge — know which area you selected.
If you are Attack Titan versus Armored, you have tempo. Do not eat a charge to prove a point. If you are Jaw, you have the flank. If you are Colossal, you have the steam — do not waste it in a hallway.
Beginner fit
Armored is a fine third kit, not a first. Beginner picks want Attack, then Jaw-or-Scout, then tanks. New Armored mains turtle in a corner and still lose the nape because they never looked at ODM from the victim side.
Mobile Armored is easier than mobile Colossal (you can see) and harder than mobile Attack (you cannot juke). Fine on a tablet. Awkward on a tiny phone when spears come from off-screen.
Practice
Five lives where you only fight blade Scouts (you should win). Five lives where you only fight spear Scouts (you should learn to disengage). If both feel the same, you are not watching weapons. Look at hands before you roar.
Armored will move up a tier the day spears get nerfed or the day napes stop working through plates. Neither is promised. Play the kit for the fantasy of being the wall, or play Scout and be the spear. Both are “how to play” Attack on Titan Paradis. Only one of them requires you to like being slow.
Pair this page with how to play for the loop and updates if a patch mentions hardening, hitboxes, or spear damage. We will not invent those numbers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers from the Attack on Titan Paradis wiki.
Is Armored Titan good in Attack on Titan Paradis?
Yes against blades, less yes against thunder spears. B tier on the current titan list.
How do I kill Armored as a Scout?
Spears, leg stuns, and patience. Chest pokes are a stall, not a plan.
Does Armored cost Robux?
No. Select it in-game. Colossal is the Robux shifter.
Should beginners main Armored?
Not first. Learn Attack and ODM, then tank if you still want plates.
