Beginner picks in Attack on Titan Paradis are a spending-order problem. The titan tier list says Colossal is S. Your first session does not have 180 Robux of skill attached to it. This page is the order that wastes the least time and the least money.

The week-one ladder

1. Scout ODM, blades only. If you cannot nape, you cannot evaluate a shifter. Controls and how to kill titans are the real beginner “tier.”
2. Attack Titan. Free-to-select all-rounder. Transform with the shift guide. Learn roar highlight, swipe, eject.
3. Thunder spears on Scout lives. See if spears feel better than blades before you buy +2.
4. Jaw Titan if you like PvP and can already unhook. If you cannot unhook, Jaw will still farm you when you try to main it.
5. Colossal only after you can eject Attack without the death-menu bug ruining your night.
6. Armored if you like being a moving wall and you already die to spears anyway.
7. Female / Beast / Warhammer after you have opinions. Warhammer last among these.

That order ignores anime favorites on purpose. You can main Beast because you like throws. Do it on week two.

What to buy, if you buy anything

From the game pass list:

• 2x ODM Gas (80) — best beginner pass if you play Scout. More mistakes allowed.
• +2 Thunder Spears (80) — buy after you like spears, not before.
• Bertolt or Armin Colossal (180) — same kit. Pick a face, not a stat. Armin is not a secret buff.
• Private Server Extra (400) — a sandbox, not a tutorial. Fly commands will hide bad ODM. Skip until you can fly without them.

Picks by platform

PC. Attack Titan plus mouse ODM is the intended tutorial. Jaw second.

Mobile. Stay on Attack longer. Jaw is stronger against you than as you until unhook is reliable. Read mobile. Skip Warhammer. Colossal camera is a tax.

Console. Follow new prompts from the map patch. Attack still first. If the transform bind is awkward, do not compensate with a 180 Robux purchase.

Picks by goal

• I want to feel like Levi. You want ODM, not a shifter. Spears optional. Jaw will still exist in your lobby.
• I want to feel like Eren. Attack Titan. Then Colossal if the steam fantasy matters more than the rank.
• I want to ruin Scouts. Jaw. Learn streets versus roofs first so you understand why they hate you.
• I want to not die. Armored, plus the knowledge that spears still exist.
• I want to throw things. Beast, on Marley plazas, after you can aim a roar.

Mistakes that look like “beginner picks”

• Buying both Colossals. They share a kit. One face is enough unless you collect.
• Maining Warhammer because the showcase looks dense. Users tell you the secondary is mandatory.
• Ignoring refill stations because a pass is “coming later.” Stations work again after the map rework fix.
• Copying a Thai or French montage pick without reading whether that creator already has thousands of kills.
• Using a gamepass-unlock script to skip the ladder. That is not a pick; that is a ban conversation on safety.

A 7-day plan

Day 1–2: Getting started + ODM drills.
Day 3: Napes only.
Day 4: Attack Titan lives only.
Day 5: Scout spears.
Day 6: One Jaw session, one Armored session.
Day 7: Re-read the titan list and spend Robux only if the itch survived.

If day 7 still feels like you cannot play, it is how to play fundamentals, not the wrong S-tier. Beginner picks cannot replace unhook.
