Attack on Titan Paradis Paradis Map Rework and Patch Notes
New forests, new buttons, and the roar that paints you.
The official Attack on Titan Paradis group posted a New Map Update with a real changelog. This page is that changelog in guide form: what you click now, what broke, and which wiki pages you should reread. Parent hub: updates.
Content that shipped
Reworked Paradis and Marley with new assets and remodels. If your old hook path disappeared, it is not you. Landmarks moved. Relearn one district instead of complaining that ODM “feels random.” Getting started now treats map choice as a first-class click.
Added a new area: Another Forest. Vertical timber, fewer streets, more trunks. Beast throws have worse lanes; Jaw still has cover; Scout dual-hooks have toys. Pick it from the new area selection menu that lets you choose where to spawn.
Titan roar can now highlight nearby enemies within range. This is the PvP line of the patch. Roar is radar. Every shifter page on the players hub assumes you will press it on purpose. Scouts should treat a roar as a “they can see me” event, not as flavor audio.
Reworked ODMG UI buttons for mobile. If you last played on a phone six months ago, your fingers are lying. Read mobile again. Dual hooks and unhook were the complaint; this is the answer.
Graphics-related improvements and missing prompts for consoles. Controller players finally get labels. Believe those labels over a PC screenshot on controls.
Fixes that shipped
Gas refill was not working sometimes. That bug made Scouts look like they could not play. If a station still fails, hop servers — the intent of the patch was to make refill legal again. 2x ODM Gas remains optional, not a workaround for a broken tap. See game passes.
Colossal Titan could rotate too quickly under certain conditions. If you bought Bertolt or Armin and felt like a spinning billboard, that was the bug. Colossal still has camera tax; it should not have turret tax.
Roar knockback not working sometimes. Highlight without knockback was a half feature. Both should function. Test them in a quiet corner before you use them as an engage.
Other minor bugs. Unspecified, which is normal. If your pet issue survived, report it in the official community server, not in a lookalike Discord.
How to play after the rework
- Open the area menu. Pick Paradis if you want walls, Marley if you want streets, Another Forest if you want hooks without city noise.
- Equip ODM. Confirm mobile buttons if you are on touch.
- Find a refill station on the new art. Confirm it actually fills.
- If you are a shifter, roar at a tree line and watch for highlights.
- If you are Colossal, rotate slowly in an open space and confirm you are not in the old spin.
- Then fight. How to play did not change; the floor did.
What the rework did not do
- It did not add promo codes.
- It did not add a Founding Titan.
- It did not publish a Trello.
- It did not nerf Jaw in the notes. Jaw is still S on the titan list until a future patch says otherwise.
- It did not make low-end phones fast. The Roblox page still warns they may not run well.
Rank and guide fallout
Roar highlight slightly buffs kits that hunt hidden Scouts (Beast, Female, Jaw). Another Forest slightly buffs dual-hook Scouts and slightly nerfs long throws. Mobile ODMG slightly buffs anyone who plays Attack on Titan Paradis on a phone and could not unhook. Colossal players should feel less sick. Armored players still hate spears.
Reread beginner picks only if you were waiting for a map to “feel done.” It is more done. It is not finished. The listing still says in development.
When the next shutdown hits, compare its notes to this page. If the next patch is a balance pass instead of a map pass, it will get its own child article under updates. Until then, this rework is the baseline world of Attack on Titan Paradis.
Go walk the new forest once without fighting. Then fight. Knowing the new hook points is a patch note you have to write with your own gas.
