Jaw Titan in Attack on Titan Paradis

The shifter lobbies complain about — and the one you should learn to flee.

Jaw Titan

Jaw Titan is the personality test of an Attack on Titan Paradis lobby. If you have never been called annoying, you have not mained it. If you have never been eaten on a street, you have not fought it. Skill-showcase comments single Jaw out more than Female, Beast, or Armored. That is the rank. This page is the user manual.

Why Jaw sits in S tier

Speed plus a hitbox that lives where Scouts reload. The titan tier list puts Jaw in S next to Colossal for different reasons: Colossal deletes by scale, Jaw deletes by denying the nape run. You cannot line a boosted neck pass if the titan is already in your chest.

Jaw is also free to select. S-tier without a 180 Robux receipt is how a kit takes over public servers.

How to play Jaw

  • Transform closer to the ground than Attack players like. Your kit wants streets, roofs you can hop, and people who just unhooked badly.
  • Roar to highlight. The map patch made this a real radar. Paint a Scout in Another Forest, then close. Do not roar as a taunt in an empty plaza.
  • Commit to one target. Jaw players who spin between three Scouts give away napes.
  • Leave when spears come out in numbers. You are S-tier, not immortal.
  • Eject if a player clearly knows how to kill titans and has already tagged a leg. Pride is a nape.

Transform using the same three-step as everyone else. Jaw does not get a secret key. If Z does nothing, gear is off.

How to survive Jaw (Scout edition)

This is the more popular half of the page.

  1. Height. Jaw wants you on cobblestones. Dual-hook to a wall the second you hear the roar highlight.
  2. Unhook. Stuck wires are meals. Mobile players must read mobile or they are a Jaw food program.
  3. Do not reload in the street. Reload on a wire.
  4. Leg stun if you are already committed. Boosted limb hits can freeze a titan long enough for a nape. Do not start the fight with this unless you are already flying.
  5. Spears as a maybe. Jaw is fast. Missed spears are just you standing still. Blades plus verticality first.
  6. Do not 1v1 on Marley alleys if you are new. Paradis walls are cleaner hook points for a flee.

If you are Attack Titan fighting Jaw, you are in an A vs S tempo fight. Eject earlier than your ego wants. See Attack Titan.

Jaw versus other shifters

  • Colossal: Do not stand in the transform. You are not winning a stomp. You can nape after the steam if the Colossal player is lost in their own camera. See Colossal.
  • Armored: You can be the spear they do not have. Flank. See Armored.
  • Warhammer: Secondary downtime is your meal.
  • Beast: Close the gap. Beast wants the plaza you should already be leaving.

Beginner warning

Jaw is a beginner pick only if your ODM is already decent. A new Jaw main who cannot unhook in human form will also panic-eject onto the same street. Learn Scout movement on controls for two sessions, then pick Jaw.

Mobile Jaw is vicious against other mobile players and less vicious against PC Scouts who can flick. Know your lobby.

Practice

Ten lives where you only fight people on the ground. Ten lives where you only fight people in the air (you will lose some; that is data). Then mix. If every death is a nape from above, you are ignoring height. If every death is spears, you are ignoring disengage.

Jaw will stay S until a patch slows it or a new shifter out-clings it. Until then, either main it with discipline or treat every roar as a “get off the street” alarm. That alarm is how to play Attack on Titan Paradis in a Jaw meta.

No scripted kill-all is a Jaw replacement worth your account. If that is the temptation, read script safety.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers from the Attack on Titan Paradis wiki.

Why is Jaw Titan so strong in Attack on Titan Paradis?

Speed and street control. It denies nape angles that other kits leave open.

How do I beat a Jaw user?

Take height, unhook cleanly, do not reload on the ground. Details in the Scout section above.

Is Jaw a good first titan?

Only after ODM unhook is reliable. Otherwise start on Attack Titan.

Does Jaw cost Robux?

No. Select it in-game. Colossal is the paid shifter.
